German International Stream Bilingual Kindergarten Virtual Open Day
Join GSIS for a virtual open day on Monday 19th April 2021 at 2pm. The Open day will for the Bilingual Kindergarten stream will include:
- A virtual tour of the Pokfulam Campus
- Introductions from the Principal and Deputy Principal/Head of German International Stream
- Interview with the Head of Kindergarten
- Live Q&As with class teachers of German/Mandarin and German/English classes

About GSIS
The bilingual programmes in the Kindergarten stream are full immersion with an emphasis on learning through play. The Kindergarten follows a child-centred and holistic approach, as they believe that each child is individual and learns at his or her own pace. The German International Stream is a through train stream from Kindergarten to Secondary and when applying to the GIS Kindergarten, no entrance assessments are required and all students are welcome regardless of the language spoken at home or their cultural background. German as a second language lessons are timetabled and extra German language support classes are part of the school’s Afternoon Activity Programme.
