Managing Difficult Conversations Workshop

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Given the current climate in Hong Kong, with difficult, and at times scary media coverage, it is important to check-in with our children and understanding how they feel about these issues. The Child Development Team at Central Health is facilitating a workshop covering the following topics:

  • How to talk to your children about difficult situations
  • How to support and reassure your children
  • How to identify signs of distress
  • How to take care of yourself

At the end of the workshop, parents will have practical strategies to:

  • Manage difficult conversations
  • Support their children’s mental health well-being through these challenging times
  • Manage their own mental health well-being
  • Resources to seek out help

Workshops are taking place on: Wednesday, December 11th 12:00-1:30pm and Thursday, December 12th 6:00-7:30pm. At Southside Family Health Centre, 10/F One Island South, suite 1015, 2 Heung Yip Road
