Updated: Jan 16, 2019

Fengshui Master John Choi shares tips on how to boost positive energy in your home or office.

As the Year of the Dog comes to a close, we welcome the Year of the Pig on Monday 4 Feb 2019 at 11.15am. #cny2019

The Year of Dog has been a pretty tough year for most people in Hong Kong, in part due to the unstable performance of the stock market and an economical recession due to the China vs USA trade war. Many people hope that the coming Year of the Pig will be a better one.

In order to expedite good luck, many Hong Kong people invite a fengshui master to create a fengshui setting in their home or office, in order to make sure the coming year will be auspicious.

One of the most popular methods of boosting fortune and positive energy in your home or office is the

“Feng Shui Flying Star”.

Check out the below Feng Shui Flying Star Computation for Year 2019.

First of all, you need to ‘slice’ your home into nine pieces (this can be approximate) and locate the EAST / SOUTH / WEST / NORTH sections.

The Love Palace: Located at the West.

We can place some fresh colourful flowers to enhance love and social relationships. However, avoid nailing the wall on the west side of

your home after 4 Feb 2019, as it may bring misfortune.

Illness Palace: Located at the Northeast.

Try to avoid sitting in this area. If this area is the bedroom, we can put a large white coloured carpet or black crystals to lower and absorb the illness energy in this area.

Conversation Palace: Located at the South.

Conversation Palace can be sensitive to the surrounding area inside or outside your home. For example, if an electric tower can be seen from the south side of your home, then it can arouse a serious argument in the family. In this case, we should put a black crystal to absorb the negative energy or a pair of Kiren to guard the negative impact caused by the electric tower. Vice versa, if this area is decent, we can put a colourful light to enhance positive conversational energy.

Intelligence Palace: Located at the north.

We can put four stems of bamboo in this area to enhance intelligence. This palace does not only favour studying, it also enhances promotion

opportunity at work, especially for those who frequently need to write business proposals.

Accident Palace: Located at Southwest.

Try to avoid sitting in this area. If this area is the bedroom, try to place white carpet or a pair of Kiren or a white marble gourd to lower

and absorb the negative energy in this area.

Fortune Palace: Located at the East.

We can place a tripod with coins inside it or a Rhodite <Medium size> to enhance the fortune energy in this area.

Destruction Palace: Located at the Southeast.

Try to avoid sitting in this area too often. If this area is the bedroom, we can place a small pair of Kiren <available in fengshui stores> overlooking the door to help lower the destructive energy. Avoid nailing the wall on the west-side after 4 Feb 2019 as it may bring misfortune.

Fortune Palace: Located in the Middle & Southwest.

We can place a tripod with coins inside it or a Rhodite <Medium size> to enhance fortune energy.

Happiness Palace: Located in the Northwest.

We can put fresh colourful flowers or a happy, colourful portrait featuring lots of people to enhance happy energy. Avoid nailing the wall on the northwest side after 4 Feb 2019 as it may bring misfortune.

The “Feng Shui Flying Star System” is the surface layer computation. Recommending the fengshui item be placed in a specific direction is basically to enhance or lower the positive or negative energy on the surface respectively.

Please bear in mind that setting up a powerful fengshui setting does not guarantee 100 percent good luck, we still have to work diligently in order to achieve a successful life!

A kind reminder for those who are born in the Year of Snake, Monkey, Pig and Tiger, in the Year of the Pig your birth year has crashed with the Deity. In addition to praying for one year of safety, it is recommend you undergo a regular body check and think twice before you leap! I wish everyone GOOD LUCK & GOOD HEALTH in the Year of the Pig.
