A photo made available 06 August 2013 shows a newborn baby at a child care centre run by ‘Mother’s Choice’, a Hong Kong non-profit organisation that cares not only for pregnant teenage girls in difficult circumstances, but also for orphaned babies, many of whom suffer from physical or learning difficulties such as Down’s syndrome, Hong Kong, China, 04 August 2013. Mother’s Choice was founded in 1987 and has provided counselling and care to over 51,000 pregnant teenage girls and cared for over 3,600 babies, of which 2,600 were babies with special needs. In those 26 years, the charity has arranged for over 1,200 adoptions in Hong Kong, and 200 adoptions around the world.
