The Family Zone
The Family Zone offers a crash course in delivery, pain relief, breastfeeding and bonding with the baby, as well as prevention and awareness of post-natal depression in three 2-hour weeknight sessions. Urban Hatch is an online resource offering expecting mothers pre- and post-birth support at their own convenience, as well as the chance to join a support network of experts and other expecting couples. Videos cover everything from birth to breastfeeding, and there is the option for one-on-one consultations and events covering parenthood essentials, advice for dads, and how to recharge after baby is born. Prices vary depending on the package.
The course at Central Health aims to walk you through the stages of labour, birth and what to expect after delivery. To ensure your place, book early as classes will run on a first-come, first-served basis.

Matilda International Hospital
Matilda Hospital offers courses which include practical information and useful suggestions for pregnancy, the birthing process and caring for newborns. The courses are suitable for expectant mothers and partners who have reached at least 28 weeks of pregnancy. The friendly in-person sessions include a discussion time. They also offer online antenatal classes. Classes are available in English or Japanese and prices start from $2500/couple or $980/person for the online classes.

Hong Kong Adventist Hospital
Led by an experienced registered midwife, the three-hour intensive workshops includes both lectures and exercises. Held monthly, the childbirth classes help prepare future parents for labor and birth and help with making informed decisions while minimising fears. Classes are suitable for those at least 28 weeks pregnant (and their partners). If you’re registered to deliver at Adventist, you’ll get a discount on antenatal classes.
