The critically acclaimed and award winning musical The Sound of Music is making its way to Hong Kong. The international tour of the Roger & Hammerstein production is celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2024. Having been one of the classics in family friendly stage and film productions, it is sure to deliver yet again. Telling the story of joie-de-vivre-filled governess, Maria, time with Captain Von Trapp and his seven children in the stunning Austrian countryside. It is a tale of love, hope, compassion and optimism in times of strife and tension.
The ensemble is led and directed by 3-time tony award winner Jack O’Brien and stars an international cast including Natalie Duncan as Maria, Corey Greenan as Captain Von Trapp and Lauren Kidwell as Mother Abbess. Be sure to grab a ticket before they inevitable sell out.
