Do you love tacos so much you could just go on eating them forever? Well, you’re in luck! This month, Te Quiero Mucho is launching its first ever Taco Challenge (HK$88), putting diners’ stomachs, and bravery, to the test with three fiery, tear-jerking tacos. Participants will race against time to consume three tacos and a bottle of beer in just three short minutes. The twist? Contestants will get a taste of the fresh-fried insects hidden in the tacos with an extra spicy kick.
Taco challengees can expect to tuck into a spread of TQM’s Carnitas taco with pico de gallo and pickled onions, Wagyu Beef with a nutty salsa macha finished with a chestnut sauce, and a Guacamole taco topped with a Chile de árbol sauce, blended with tomatillo, garlic and onion. Successful participants who beat the clock will receive a refreshing pint of Pilsner’s for free!
