On Saturday, April 13, make concrete your canvas at SCAD Hong Kong’s UNESCO-awarded campus. A celebration of colour, creativity and local talent, the ninth annual Sidewalk Arts Festival is open to the Hong Kong community, SCAD students, alumni and high school students, to transform the outdoor space with chalk art.
Last year, more than 220 students participated in the cherished tradition, creating Hong Kong’s largest chalk art with their unique designs, while competing for coveted prizes. Street food vendors serving delectable treats, alongside a live music performance will keep creatives entertained as they compete.
The event runs alongside the university’s monthly Spotlight Day which hosts a wide variety of engaging workshops, open to all.
